Conus subcalcareus (Oostingh, 1941)
Oostingh C.H. (1938-1940).
Die Mollusken des Pliocäns von Süd-Bantam in Java. De Ingenieur in Nederlandsch Indië, IV. Mijnbouw en Geologie. (Die Mijningenieur).
Based on the characteristic habitat of the Conus stupa, determined at a depth of 150–430 m, and considering that the faunal content in the shales immediately overlying the Telisa sandstone is abundant and presents a high diversity of deep-sea marine faunas (2), it is presumable that Conus subcarcareus also lived in deep waters.
